My all-time favorite Ladies SP performance used to be Sasha's 2004 worlds SP to Malaguena. This has now been replaced with Rochette's SP at the Vancouver Olympics

Favorite Ladies LP performance for me is still Midori Ito's 1989 worlds LP

Briancoogaert is right, it was her LP from 2000. I should've written out Mendelssohn Violin Concerto, but I was being lazy.

My absolute favorite is MK's "Red Violin" free skate at 2000 Worlds ... followed by Irina's 2005 Worlds FS.

Other classics ... the duel for the gold at the '96 Worlds, SP and FS for both Kwan and Chen. IMO, this is the epitome of "reasonable minds can differ", rather than "wuzrobbed" -- and if ever duplicate golds should have been awarded for a "tie", this was it.

Michelle's Rachmaninoff is a masterpiece program. The music is absolutely sublime, and everything is so well choreographed, and done so tastefully and uniquely. The soft/pretty, gentle girl style choreography can get quite repetitive but Michelle's Rach program is the epitome of what a graceful skating program should look like. Hands down most well-choreographed short program of all time for me

Michelle's "Hands" all the way!! Gets me every time. And there aren't many ladies' programs that actually do.

Oh, the spins. Or should that be, "Oy, the SPINS?!"

I think they spent a fair amount of time watching very young skaters when choreographing that.

I'm a new fan who still has a lot of great programs to discover (thank goodness for Youtube!). But of what I've seen, I really love these:

Michelle Kwan's Red Violin and Rachmaninoff
Sasha Cohen's Carmen, Dark Eyes, and Romeo and Juliet
    Joannie Rochette's La Cumparsita
    Bebe Liang's Harry Potter
Ashley Wagner's Once Upon a Time in America
Yu-Na Kim's Danse Macabre, Bond Girl, and Gershwin
    Shizuka Arakawa's Turandot
    Mao Asada's Clair de Lune

    Mine are:

Lu Chen 1995 Worlds Short and Long Program (to Mendelssohn's Piano Concerto No. 1 and to The Last Emperor Soundtrack)

Lu Chen 1996 Worlds Short--She is the spring breeze!

Lu Chen 1998 Olympics LP--The most beautiful and emotional skate I have ever scene. Undoubtedly, Lu Chen is the most artistic skater to grace the ice, and this program showed it.!
Agree with you 100 %!!! She's unmatched here.
PLUS you forgot her mesmerizing, divine '96 Rachmaninov LP. Never ever a woman's program has touched me that way before.
