pollyanna, thanks for sharing your list.
I agree with you. Even though many people won't consider Sarah among their favorite skaters, her FP at that competition was astounding. I found it especially inspiring because of how calm and collected she was approaching the program, despite being an underdog and in 4th place.

This happens to also include one of my favourite dresses of all time
Michelle Kwan - 1998 World Pro - Technical Program

The first program of her "adulthood".
If you look at the way the judges scored the ladies LP, half of the judging pannel was not trying to do her any favors. The ordinals are totally shady. The judges were not trying to find a way to do anything-she just ended up winning. Michelle was the only skater on the podium who's ordinals made any sense.
Michelle Kwan's East of Eden, Salome
Yu-Na's Lark Ascending, Danse Macarbre, Gershwin
Sasha Cohen's Dark Eyes

Kwan Tosca 04 US Nationals
Butylskaya Otonal 99 Worlds

As you can see, I have a soft spot for mature ladies capping off their careers with wonderful performances.
I was especially moved by Irina 05 by not only she overcame illness and slump to become the champion again, but did it in immense pressure from adoring home crowd.
She later said she cried all day after a mediocre SP because she felt so much pressure.
Peggy's 68 National LP still hold up pretty well.
The one's that stand out for me...
1. Oksana Baiul '93 SP- Lambada
2. Oksana Baiul '94 TP- Flamenco
3. Oksana Baiul '95 AP- The Feeling Begins
4. Oksana Baiul '95 - You'll See (it was in the Rider's Pro)
5. Lu Chen '96 SP & LP
6. Josee Chounaird '93 Canadian National's LP
7. Joannie Rochette '10 Oly's SP
8. Yu Na Kim '10 Oly's SP & LP
