Abbott did a quad at Skate Canada and U.S. Nationals successfully. He did a triple axel/triple toe successfully much more frequently. I thought he did not do a quad and 3a/3t together but he did.

Yeah. Add to that Phantom as the FS and I'm ready to bang my head against the wall.

That's what I was gonna say.

I'm almost ready to agree that a moratorium should be put on certain overused pieces of music, at least for a few seasons. Seriously, there's so much music out there, so why do skaters keep using the same .00000000000000000000001% of it?

Isn't it "The Mask of Zorro" to be exact?

When a Zorro is not a Zorro

The difference is while there is only one Carmen, there are several Zorro movie soundtracks to choose from:

    1. Zorro (1957 and 1990)
    2. The Mask of Zorro (1998)
    3. Zorro the Gay Blade (1983)
    4. The Mark of Zorro (1974)
    5. El Zorro La Espada Y La Rosa (2007)
    6. The Legend of Zorro (2005)
    7. The Princess Bride (1987)

And these are just the recent ones. They've been making Zorro movies since the 1920s. So while a Carmen is a Carmen; a Zorro is not always a Zorro, LOL.

They are with Sappenfield now... Maybe the cut of POTO that Paetsch/Meekins used last season is just being recycled to them. And maybe they just really like the music, who knows.

Brynn Carman & AJ Reiss (JGP-eligible in pairs):
FS: "Reflections on Earth" by Galvin Greenaway and [choreo by] Peter Oppegard
Aw, the Disneyworld music! I love it.

Possibly this music from The Mask of Zorro (1998 film)? (it's only 1:18 in length, though): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzTAQCLHZds

When you get the silver medal one year, what should be YOUR goal for the next year? The bronze? The pewter?

I don't know what parts they're using, but there are parts of that CD I just love. Great choice.

You're right. I'm just used to the skaters being kind of shy on their icenetwork bios. Not many people come out and say their goal is to win, even if they want to... Especially when the clear favorite seems to be someone else. I'm happy that is their goal though.

Really? That seems a strange choice for these two, but I'll be interested to see it.
I hear outside a million panicking birds, and know even out there comfort is done with; it has shattered even the stars, this creature at last come home to me.

I never thought I'd see anyone skate to Jon Brion, but I approve! (now, if someone would skate to Fiona Apple I'd be even happier)

You know, when I was reading this thread yesterday, I almost posted that I hope it isn't another Dark Eyes.
