I heard that Gary Coleman's wife had to make the decision about ending life support. Weren't they in the middle of a contentious divorce? I hope it's all on the up and up.

Apparently they were divorced in 2008. It's not clear she had the authority to terminate life support. Police are supposedly investigating the circumstances around the head trauma and whether his ex-wife was involved. The divorce papers are sealed, but Coleman was the one who filed, and he was awarded everything and she was given no alimony.

More on that in the article below. The more she talks, the more horrible a person she is revealed to be. Not once does she talk about GARY or show emotion or empathy at his much-too-soon death. http://www.celebitchy.com/103624/sha..._gary_coleman/

As for why she’s grateful to Gary, she explained “He’s done a lot for me. He bought me a car, which he chose to do. Which I never asked him for. I thought that was very sweet of him to do that.”

The only thing that Shannon can come up with that’s nice to say about Gary is that he bought her a car? It doesn’t seem like she cared for Gary all that much or is in mourning over his death.
So sad that Gary had this user in his life, and by most reports was still shelling out the money for her ... and very sadly apparently relying on her friendship and companionship.

The disregard she shows on that 911 call will stick with me for a while. Put yourself in Gary's place: Horrifying that while you lie injured and perhaps dying ... the person you love/loved, who is also the only other person in the house, will not come to hold you / talk to you / comfort you ... NOTHING. Instead, she shouts emotionless instructions to you, and you perhaps hear her talking more softly to the 911 dispatcher, explaining why she'll just stay where she is, and whine that she's not felt well that day.

Price blurted out that she's heard speculation that she pushed Gary and that caused him to fall and ultimately hemorrhage. Price insists she didn't push Gary -- a weird statement, since no one had publicly accused her of that.
Sounds to me like an "open mouth, insert foot" moment.

Did anyone hear the 911 tape? The woman could not be bothered to go down and check on him even though she wasn't really sure if he was even alive! She told the operator that she didn't want to go down there, she wasn't feeling well and had a fever so she better not get too worked up. WTF!? The radio DJ's that played the interview called her the most horrible person in the world and I have to agree. She reacted to his accident exactly as you would react to a stranger on the side of the road, someone you had absolutely no emotional connection to.

I think there would only be a Lifetime movie if it had been the woman who had died and the man who had treated her callously. That's pretty much the way Lifetime works.
