I will never forget this gentleman. I can remember his TV program when I was very young. It was amusing and gentle.

It also involves my bizarre family moment(everyone has a bizarre family moment). I had a great-great aunt who used to get perfectly dressed and made up to watch Art Linkletter's program during the afternoon. She was sure that he could see her through the TV, after all she could see him. Another relative wrote the show about this and Mr Linkletter actually said hello to my GG aunt which sealed the 'seeing through the TV' deal.

Enjoyed watching Art Linkletter's House Party many, many years ago, especially the segments where he talked with children.

Watching "House Party" with my mother was one of my fondest childhood memories. Mr. Linkletter was a beautiful man.

He was the guest speaker for a fundraising event at the school I used to work at roughly 11 years ago. I got to meet him before the guests arrived and talked with him for quite some time. He was a genuine and kind man. My grandparents loved watching him on television and I told him so. He signed a program for me to take to my grandfather who was 2 1/2 years older than him and wrote lovely note about needing to keep on at their age. My grandpa was thrilled.
