Who is Allissandra Aronow ? Isn't Zach on his 7th or 8th partner? I think Piper was his longest. Hope she isn't looking for more than 1 or 2 seasons !!

LOL! But will they be a junior or senior team? (Igor has mostly senior teams this year, so if they're Jr they would balance it out. )

Alissandra was already in Canton with another partner, a Lithuanian guy, so the total numbers haven't changed I don't know if they competed last year, but they were on the JGP in '08-'09.

They will have to compete as Seniors, because Aronow turns 19 in June. It's odd that Donohue picked her as a partner, because he is 19 and would have been eligible to compete as a Junior. It will be tough for them to get any assignments as Seniors.

ARONOW / PIROGOV (LTU) competitive record:
    99.84 21.32 26.46 52.06 JGP CRO 2009 19th
    107.57 23.09 32.27 52.21 JGP HUN 2009 15th
    52.72 21.80 30.92 FNR JW 2009 30th
    114.99 22.95 35.63 56.41 NRW Trophy 2008 9th (Juniors)
    106.11 20.50 34.14 51.47 JGP ESP 2008 16th
    104.91 21.21 34.01 49.69 JGP MERANO 2008 15th

If the new age rule goes into force, wouldn't they both be too old for juniors, whomever they skate with?

IF the new age rules pass at the ISU Congress in June, the proposal states it would not apply to Junior pair/dance teams until the 2011-12 season.

Could a kind admin change the thread title so that it specifies who has partnered with whom?

She competed for Lithuania last season, so not only is she aged out of JGP's (under the current rules), but I think they'd have to sit out a season anyway before representing the US. They could make their decision on what level to skate at, based on who would potentially be competing out of Midwestern Sectionals.

I believe this is only the 4th partner for Donahue, not the 7th or 8th .

Partners I can remember for certain Sara Bailey, Lili Lamar, Kaitlyn Patitucci, Piper Gilles and I believe there might be one or two more. So at the very least this will be partner # 5! None lasting very long. I wish them lots of luck !

You correctly named Zach's partners. Allisandra is his 5th partner.

Her last competition for LTU ended on October 10th, 2009, so she would be able to represent the US starting October 11th, 2010.
