Is someone still ptactice in Linichuck-Karponosov group?
Ok so I would have prefered Liz Coates but I don't know what Marika does these days. Strange.
My French is very limited, so the best I can do is provide a link. Google translated got me the following:
Between his life in high school, her figure skating coach who has staked everything on him, a father who dreams of this too him stay in his wake and his love affair with Maia, the pressure mounts for Gauthier. Torn between so many requirements, how and at what price, he will break free and find their own space?
I looked at the link for the film, and it says also that it is a short film, So probably not to be seen widely...
Marika Humphreys is an ISU technical specialist, apparently one of the stricter ones. So if - and it is still if as there hasn't been any official confirmation yet that Carron/Jones indeed moved to England to train with her - they have switched to her they are probably hoping to improve their technique. Low levels held them down. The choreography of some programs didn't help either. I wouldn't say that Marika Humphreys is an inexperienced coach even if she didn't have any skaters yet that competed at the European or World level. Carron/Jones might turn to someone else for choreography.
And it's probably easier for them to train in England than in America without funding.
Oh yeah I didn't mean to talk Marika down. I know that she's one of the toughest callers out there and I have no idea how much experience or skills she has as a coach.
It just surprised me that a pair of their calibre risked going to somebody without a track record of training elite level dance team.
But you are right Eislauffan - they can always hire somebody else for choreography and focus on getting higher levels on their elements as that's been an issue for them for a while now.
I remember they choreographed their FD (or both programs) themselves once. But maybe that wouldn't be such a good idea.
And whilst UK is definitely not a cheap place to live or train, the coaching fees are definitely lower than in the US.

According to this yellow press article, Anissina is going back to France, to prepare the French team to the OG in 2014.
In Soviet Russia, the skaters lobbychick YOU.
To think that fun is simple fun, while earnest things are earnest, proves all too plain that neither one thou truthfully discernest.

Pechalat and Bourzat to skate SD to Moulin Rouge!
IN has an article about Florent Amodio's movie role and his experiences making the film.
That's not what they said - only that the theme will be Paris ♥ Paris, which can mean just about anything, knowing those two.
Deeside ice rink is in Wales, not England! Doesn't Marika H-B train tech specialists for the ISU? So, if anyone could recognise a level 4 step sequence it would be her.
