Interesting...
According to the information fed to the ISU, she's 25 and female!
Wait till pinky166, benedict_david, and oleada hear about this!![]()
I think it's crazy that after so many years, France now has 5 ladies who could all possibly qualify for Worlds (although Yretha Silete is already committed for Junior Worlds and Lenaelle Gilleron-Gorry may still be too young this year)
FYI, Miete scored 137.08 for 9th at Europeans.
Compare to Candice Didier - Universiade (144.08), Lena Marrocco - Mont Blanc (144.46), Silete - JGP Courcheval (134.03),
Lenaelle Gilleron-Gorry is old enough to go to Worlds.

Didier and Marrocco seem prone to crumbling very easily. Their recent wins are nice, but I wouldn't trust them with a Worlds spot yet. Meite to Worlds and Silete to Jr. Worlds sounds fine to me. Gilleron-Gory had a good result at Nationals and its too bad there's not 2 spots for Jr. Worlds. Meite did well to make top 10 at Euros so who knows, maybe she'll surprise and do the same at Worlds. Certainly I'd give her more of a shot than Didier who has been to Worlds and Euros thrice and never reached top 10 at either.
Well, Mark Vaillant is still on the list and he's been retired for over 1 year now...

Yes but it seems that dates shown on the list are always the same, the status seems to be given from november to october each year. So they could have been recorded later, at the beginning of 2011, with an anterior start date in November 2010.
The question is actually to know if M&B appeared on the list in 1010, when they were still skating for Russia.
And of course somesource would help !
There is a summary of a press conference with Florent posted on the federation's site where he says he is going to do a quad in Tokyo and that he will be there form early March onwards and that he loves Japan.

Brian Joubert article (in French): http://tempsreel.nouvelobs.com/actua...le-podium.html
Joubert will replace the 3Lz with 3F in his SP in Tokyo and plans two 4T and two 3A in his FS. He's had left knee pain since December ("blood clots lodged in the ligament," according to Google Translate) and will have surgery in June.
He does have an "e" on the flip but it's his most consistent jump
Better have -GOEs on a Flip than a fall on the lutz I guess...PCS wise at least.
Yeah, I remember him saying recently in an interview that he has doubts/confidence issues with the lutz since the blade went through his boot twice.
He can do the flip in his sleep...but will get and edge call.
That should probably be a 2-3 point difference between a clean Lutz and a Flip with an edge call.
