Poor Evan. All the technical ability and he's just an introvert, not expressive, a reticent personality. Fine for lots of occupations but a hazard in dancing (and skating.)

A long, long time ago, in one of the interviews (maybe 5, 6 years ago) Evan describes himself as a math nerd. I have thought of him like that ever since. It's frustrating at times, when he cannot let go. It is also endearing at times, looking at all his high achievememt despite the odds.

I think I know how Evan feels.

Not that I'm a math nerd. But I'm also internal like that, and it's incredibly difficult to express things in a way that actually leaves an impression. There are times when I apologize for losing my temper and someone says, "You did? I didn't notice."
