I recorded the Today show every morning during the Olympics. Matt left Vancouver on Thursday. The Friday episode (the last Olympic one) did not feature Matt, as he left for New York. There was a blizzard in New York that day, and they mentioned he landed just before the storm hit. The crew and the other journalists were still in Vancouver. Meredith interviewed Joannie.The New York Daily News reported that Lauer stood up his wife on Valentine's Day. He also chose to stay in Vancouver after the Olympics even though the rest of the Today Show crew had returned to New York.

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day! Let's hope they're wrong on this one, though. Not that I'm a Lauer fan, but I hate it when the NE turns out to be right, just on principle. Plus it's just plain depressing to find out about yet another cheater.
