Enjoyed her skating very much over the years, especially her musicality and attack. I'm sure she'll be successful as she moves forward into other endeavors.

Bebe is a truly wonderful and accomplished skater with her own unique style and presentation. I always enjoyed watching her no matter what, and I wish her the best in whatever she chooses to do in the future (though I hope she will not leave skating altogether).

Bebe is not a type of skater I usually adore. But, I have always found her skating fun. And, I like the SP, too. I wish Bebe my best.

I have come to realize that few skating careers end on a totally happy note.

Well, unless a skater medals at the Olympics and wins a world championship, someone will say that that skater hasn't fulfilled his/her potential.

I thought Liang's last year was decent, esp. since she actually has been pursuing college.

Bebe, thanks for the great memories - I always enjoyed watching you skate, good or bad. Good luck with everything!

I liked Beatrisa's skating, but she was so frustrating to watch. I wish her all the best.

Does anyone have a video of her triple lutz / triple loop at Nationals? Was it the first triple lutz / triple loop in competition by a woman, or a US woman? I don't remember what year it was.

It was 2003, but her free skate that year wasn't televised.

I think there are those videos of Nationals that US Figure Skating takes, though - I've seen some youtube clips of them for example this one (nancy kerrigan 1990 nationals) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCHDKLQXMmE . So was hoping maybe someone had something like that. :-). I guess it was too early for recording with a cell phone but some people also maybe brought a camcorder or something. Like with Timmy Goebel's first quad sal chow from Jr Worlds.

It was the first by a US woman. Miki Ando and probably a couple of other non-Americans had already done it at that point.
