That is one boring drive from Springfield to Columbus on I-70! A lot of other OH interstates give you the "repent so you don't go to hell" serial signs on the side of the barns (or stuck in the cornfields) for entertainment during the journey, but not this one.So bring books on CD or NPR! Or take the 'off the beaten path' road via Route 40 & stop at the historic Red Brick Tavern for tea.
I like the Westcott House by Frank Lloyd Wright and can easily spend all day at the Heart of Ohio antique center - both in Springfield.
