She looks so much better in that dress than in her skating dresses. She's actually quite pretty and very fit, she just desperately needs a new costume designer!

That dress design is very flattering on her. She should go in that direction with her skating costumes.

The child does love pastels. She certainly isn't big. Good for her for having a life outside skating.

I think the reason that Rachael look "skater fat" is that she does not have a very defined waist, she is simply not very curvy below the bust. If she wore something with an empire waist like this or this or this it would be very flattering. Also richer colours are better, the pale colours just wash her out, I have the same problem and stay well away from pastels.
I want to thank you Lord for being with me so far this day. With your help, I have not been inpatient, lost my temper been grumpy or envious of anyone. But I will be getting out of bed in a minute and I think I will really need your help then. Amen

she looks beautiful. That is a wonderful style for her. Would love to see her skate in something like that in a dusty kind of purple

I'd have to say I think it's because she's short (she doesn't have long limbs or a long torso) and her arms and legs don't have the most visible muscle definition, but I actually think some of that might be do to her just being bigger boned than a lot of the thin asian ladies who have come to dominate skating. As you can see in that prom dress, she has no fat on her stomach and has a little waist. Originally Posted by JanetB
