Good for Emily and Evan - they need to do something fresh for next season.Greate for USA Nationals - it will be strong 4 years rivality with D-W.
Not good for another Canton skaters from USA (C-Z, Sh-Sh).
And i feel sorry for Yaroslava and Yurii - they worked with this guys from there childrehood. Have they another high level skaters in there group?

And its interesting, that S-B moving to Canton was announsed in the same day with V-M future plans. Will see, but i feel V-M will retried.
And at USA Nationals Igor and Marina will coached all ice-dancers&

I think with Z-Sh they could repeat D-W way before this year OG and overcome numver 1 ice dance team in USA just before OG Its look realistick for me - Meryl will 27 in Sochi.

Yay my wish came true! I've been wanting them to leave their old coaches for quite some time now.
They're currently my favourite American dance team, (I wayy prefer her than Meryl), so whatever changes they make, I hope they will become the top US dance team within a couple of years, looking on to Sochi. Good luck Emily and Evan!!

It wouldn't be the first time. Wasn't it 1998 when all of the top 5 US senior teams were with Shpilband?

I hope Emily Samuelson doesn't end up looking like a stick figure.

I'm pretty thrilled with this news! I like Samuelson/Bates but thought they needed a coaching change and new choreography. I hope everything goes well for them with Igor and Marina.

Off the top of my head, I can think of Lynn/Logan and Olson/Cowan. Probably more that I can't remember. I think there are some Novice and lower teams and solo/partnerless dancers there, too.

    I thought that too.

The Hubbells are with Krylova I thought.

This is surprising to me. I mean I was wondering how much longer S/B would be in Ann Arbor, but still. Hope it works out for them, and that it pushes all the teams there to improve; S/B are very good!

Hmm this will be an interesting season. At least now Emily and Evan can get good choreography and programs to match their skills. They were held back so much last year with what they were given, especially in the FD.

ITA, gods, why does everyone have to go to S&Z.

Well, at least I'll have the Russians to enjoy in the coming quad I guess.

Hmm, let see... their students won gold and silver in Vancouver, silver in Turino, a world championship, a couple of world silvers and bronzes and several national titles within the last decade. Yeah, I don't know why any dancers would want to go to them either
