Aww, I'll bet Lance Alot is adorable. I can just see one of those fuzzy critters in a suit of armor.

One of my grammar pet peeves. Along with its/it's, their/they're/there confusion, and the like. . . But the alot does look cute and fuzzy. . . are they gentle?

No! They are very dangerous! See the example with the baby.

That whole blog is hilarious. Make sure you read the one about how a fish nearly ruined her life.

I also enjoy The Oatmeal... they've got a segment on commonly misspelled words: http://theoatmeal.com/comics/misspelling (including "alot") and also a nice one on apostrophe usage: http://theoatmeal.com/comics/apostrophe

Thanks for posting the apostrophe link, english is my second language and I know I haven't been using the possessive form correctly with plurals.

I hope someday she does a post on "free reign," another one of my pet peeves. I'll bet she could have a lot of fun with that one.

ETA: Oh, and also "pour over" for "pore over." That's a recent one that's really been getting on my nerves.
