Of course I had to jump in
1. Klimova/Ponamerenko - duh
2. Grishuk/Platov - double duh's
3. Anisina/Peizerat - triple duh
4. Krylova/Ovsiannikov
5. Navka/Kostamarov
6. Usova/Zhulin
This is where it gets a little more difficult:
7. Virtue/Moir
8. Denkova/Staviiski
9. Bourne/Kraatz
10. Delobel/Schoenfelder
I left out the Duchesnays - yes I loved their routines...but the originality wasn't theirs, and they never looked to me like they truly mastereed their dances. Top 20 perhaps, but not top 10. Isabelle had a few scary Babs moments of her own IIRC.
Honorable mentions: Domnina/Shabalin, Rahkkamo/Kokko, Punsalam/Swallow, and Drobiako/Vanagas. Although they didn't appeal to me, Lobacheva/Averbukh could be very impressive technically too.
For the life of me, I can't see anyone placing Belgosto or Fusar-Poli/Margaglio in the top 10.
Restuls + Personal preference:
Klimova & Ponomerenko
Krylova & Ovsiannikov
Usova & Zhulin
Denkova & Staviyski
Anissina & Peizerat
Grishuk & Platov
Delobel & Schoenfelder
Virtue & Moir
Lobacheva & Averbukh (but more for Averbuhk)
Rahkkamo & Kokko
