I haven't watched DWTS in years....but when did they start giving out separate "technical merit" and "artistic impression" scores like figures skating? Is this new this year?
In years past, I thought it was one score only from the judges?
That was just new for this time and just for tonight

Evan is blowing my mind. He's just so damn good! And I've got a terrible, terrible crush growing on Anna. They make such a great pair.
Rickey.org has video of all the dances but it's dances only, no judging and no rehearsal footage.
Kym's Rumba is pathetic for a pro. She is all over the place. Too Bad!
I know dialidol isn't really that accurate, but
Spoilerunlike the last couple of weeks, it actually has Kate in last place.
eta, all my votes went to Pam and Evan. In prior weeks, I had really enjoyed Niecy, but last night was a bit of a train wreck, so I just couldn't justify even one vote. Hope she's not in trouble as I'd like her to have another shot.

Evan is truly impressive. He is looking great on DWTS and, according to reports, has an energetic new EX for SOI, all that with no sleep, constant travel and broken toes. It seems superhuman
Very slow voting online this morning. Right now, all my votes are going to Evan, but I would love to see Evan, Erin and Pam in the final three.
If this is to end in fire
Then we should all burn together
So far, I've liked Evan's dancing every week, but last night he seemed flat and wooden to me...

And so, dear Lord, it is with deep sadness that we turn over to you this young woman, whose dream to ride on a giant swan resulted in her death. Maybe it is your way of telling us... to buy American.
I take it Pamela's Hepatitis C is under control these days:

Pamela Anderson, who jumped the waves on TV's "Baywatch," is now making waves in the medical community after her recent remarks about living with hepatitis C, a disease she was first diagnosed as having in 2001.
The eye makeup was pretty awful, but I really do find that I like her.
I also agreed with the judges ordinals for the top four last night, though as absolute scores they really weren't accurate.
Was anyone else really unimpressed by Nicole's rumba? It looked very easy to me.
I really don't see how any judge can give Kate scores for techical or performance that are equal to anyone else. She basically walks around with a deer-in-the-headlights look while clutching onto her partner. It's so hard to watch, and yet here I sit!
The backstage interviews were soooo painful. I feel like Brooke doesn't know what to say. Was it necessary to ask for comments in between the two sets of scores? Too much awkward chatter.
Evan continues to impress me. I was a little worried before the show started, but he's been darn solid every week. I also like Erin, Aiden, and Pam. I don't mind Jake, but I don't see any improvement and I fear that he is an undeserving goner tonight.
Edyta has me considering filling out my application for the other team.
I didn't think Kym's rhumba looked that great. Kind of stumbly in the foot placement and not smooth. I am not in teknik so maybe someone can tell us why that was or was not good.
Re T.O., I think he has been there every week. I saw a report that he was asked if he was going to do the show next year and he said he'd been invited in the past and he'd turned it down. He had to add that he doesn't need to prove to anyone that he can dance.
I think I will have a snack and take a nap before I eat and go to sleep.
