DWTS April 12-13 : Kate will dance until you love her

Garden Kitty wrote in the last thread "Per Anna's twitter, she and Evan dance second tonight."

Maybe the judges should use reverse psychology. "That was brilliant!", which would make everyone go and forget to vote for her .

    ---

After two weeks of tense video packages featuring her and partner Jake Pavelka, Chelsie Hightower wants to set the record straight. "We have a lot of fun together. We goof off, but they haven't shown that yet in our packages," the Dancing with the Stars pro tells TVGuide.com.

TVGuide.com: What do you think of the two-score format this week for technique and performance?

Hightower: It's interesting. It puts a lot of pressure on us. Now we're not only getting judged on teaching the celebrity, but we're also getting judged on our actual choreography. That's basically what the artistic score is. It's more pressure than normal. It's going to be out of 60. It's just this week, though, and then next week is movie week or something like that.

Kristi Yamaguchi's tweet says she will be there tonight. This is her tweet -

Off to DWTS tonite! Oooh I hear Pam's rumba is HOT, can't wait to see Evan's tango too!
And after Cheryl replies that she can't wait to see her Kristi says -

can't wait to see you too! Ooh can I meet Ochocinco?
    To which Cheryl responds -

@kristiyamaguchi haha ofcourse!! You will love him!

If Kate is saved by the home audience and a dancer is voted off who was clearly better in that week's performance, it's not going to go down very well with the judges. I remember the week after Toni Braxton was voted off and the next week Carrie Ann told Cloris: “We lost Toni Braxton for this and that kinda makes me sad. It’s unfortunate to watch a great dancer leave the competition for this.” (Yes, I looked it up. Bruno was harsh, as well, justifiably.)

If Kate keeps dancing until I love her, it will make They Shoot Horses Don't They, look like a pleasant minute waltz.

Don't forget that last Tuesday Ochocinco promised that he'll make love to Cheryl on the dance floor tonight. It'll be either or .

Pam and the rumba. Oh, my goodness. Parents, send your kids ...and husbands/boyfriends off to bed at 9, . Go Pam!

I actually can't stand it when the judges are telling the audience at home how to vote.

I didn't get the impression they were doing that. It could backfire, if so.

It's either a very big ice rink, or there's a lake under there.

Oh GK, I *heart* you x zillion. And seconded.

I had to quick open the Max link because ... well, because it's Max. He's not one of those "I just want to dance my best and have fun" types, is he?

Also what "Nationals" is he referring to? Is it US Dancesport amateur nats?

(And yes, danceronice, I should know ... but my script is about as accurate re: ballroom comps as Blades on Ice, Ice Castles and Cutting Edge are re: FS comps. )

where have I seen this name, Rosie DiManno, before?

Rosie DiManno, a columnist for the Toronto Star, wrote an editorial which slammed the ESPN analyst for joining ABC’s crop of “Stars,” labeling her a “ballroom bimbo.”

“[Erin] made a fool out of herself and a sham of her profession,” DiManno penned. “I want to grab [her] by the shoulders and shout: ‘What are you thinking, woman?!’”

“I’m appalled by the damage she’s doing to her profession and her own reputation as a journalist,” she added.

In a new interview with SportsIllustrated.com, Erin defended herself and fired back at DiManno.

“What am I doing to be a bimbo? I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong,” Erin said. “I guess it’s OK for an NFL player and a gold medalist to do the show and be taken seriously, but nobody else is allowed… I don’t know what damage I’m doing. I’m basically killing myself to not embarrass myself.”

    http://www.accesshollywood.com/erin-..._article_31101

On a much lighter note, she also addressed the rumors of a newfound romance with “Dancing” partner Maks, which People even put on the cover of their latest issue with the headline “Their Hot Romance.”

So what does she have to say about her reported boyfriend?

“Our official word is that we thank People for letting us know about this hot romance because we didn’t know we had it,” she concluded.

Probably has something to do with the fact that the government is broke .

    She never rarely disappoints

Judges discussing the tango...Erin needs to be more elegant...Jake needs more correct emotion...Evan needs to be more precise in the footwork, point his toes...

    Basically,
