Kiitos, Hanna! Thanks!
^^ I am not 100% if they will take the hockey things away, though.

Thanks Hanna for the interesting report! There will be "SM-senioreiden ja SM-junioreiden 1.valintakilpailu" (I have no idea what it's in English...) in Matinkylä ice rink 16.-17.10.2010. Are you or is anybody going there? Do you know who skateres are attending, would it be worth to see?
I am most definitely going! There's no doubt about it (there really isn't a competition I DON'T go to see
). I don't think there are any participant lists out there yet but we'll make a thread for it in the Kiss 'n' Cry section as soon as as there's more info. Don't expect Korpi or Lepistö though.
The junior events are the ones that will be more interesting anyway, since all seniors will most likely automatically qualify for Nationals.

Thanks a lot for the long report Hanna. I really appreciated it.
One thing though, are there any young boys that seem decent? Or no boys at all?
Since you mentioned only girls.
There were 3 novice boys (2 Finns, 1 Dutch) and 3 junior boys (2 Finns, 1 Russian) but honestly I don't think there was much to write about. The novice boys were lucky to be landing their doubles. The Russian junior boy I think had a 3s but he was pretty much skating through his music, not really doing anything else but the elements.

I´ll post it here, too: Laura Lepistö will not skate in Finlandia Trophy. Check FT thread in Kiss & cry![]()
Yes, hopefully she will manage to recover from her injury in time.![]()

Thanks, Hanna! Going to watch them right now!
Wow, I really liked both programs
She looks in terrific shape despite the missing jumps and she is spinning better than ever!
This looks good for the coming competitions and I hope she tries out the 3T/3T as soon as possible to get it"done"!
Great height in the jumps and she covers the ice very well, a renewed Kiira!
Just finished watching Kiira's programs. My overall first impression was okay. I really enjoyed the SP, though!
I loved the SP! I think this version of Over the rainbow is very beautiful and not annoying at all. And the dress was gorgeus as well! FS needs still more passion and interpretation. But it'll come, I'm sure!
YLE is stepping up their game! Apparently they're going to broadcast 4 of the 6 GPs this season(naturally the ones with Kiira and Laura) + the final!
Most likely it will be something like top3 from each discipline but still it's better than anything before, so good for them (and us)!
Of course I'm still hoping to be watching everything live from an online feed, like every year![]()
