Pleas let me in on it!

I checked some hotels in Shibuya. (Though I don't have to stay in a hotel. Instead of that I'll have to commute about two hours round every day...)

The following hotels have direct shuttle bus access from Narita Airport. (You have to pay the fare.)
    Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu 22,500yen~
    Shibuya Tokyu Inn 15,600yen~
    Hotel Mets Shibuya 11,500yen~
Shibuya Tobu Hotel 13,960yen~ (I can't find their English pages.)
    Granbell Hotel Shibuya 13,000yen~

These hotels are cheaper, but they don’t have a shuttle bus stop.
    Tokyu Stay Shibuya 8,460yen~
Shibuya City Hotel 9,800yen~ (I can't find their English pages.)
Hotel Unizo Shibuya 17,000yen~ (I can't find their English pages.)

I also went to 2009 GPF.
Yes, there were washroom nightmares. Also there were only two concession stands in the arena and you had to be in the line like forever to just buy a cup of coffee. If the operation is the same as GPF, you can’t eat and drink on your seat. You have to go to some spaces around the concession places to do that, and the place will be packed. Be careful some Japanese have a fuss about obeying rules. I was in the cheap seat and had some snacks and a middle aged nice lady made a face at me. And apparently there were some many others like me, so someone must have told the staff because they started patrolling and telling the audience during brakes that eating and drinking are only permitted in the designated areas!
And Taking photos is no no. Even just when you use your cell phone, the staff might come to you to make sure you’re not taking pics.

    Yeah, it was!
So crowded that I had to stand beside trash cans or be outside in the rain to eat..

I recommend you to carry something to eat & drink in your bag.

I'm sure you can get it. Some peoples do buy the tickets and resale it on auctions or bidding site like Ebay. Figure skating is a popular sport in Japan, n some peoples see this as a way to make extra money. I don't know how much figure skating ticket cost, but the last time it was held in Calgary, for 2006 world championship, they range from $50 to $300.

In Japan, everything was expansive so.

Yes, except weekdays' tickets left for longer, and there are many other ways to get one.

They usually handle tickets for the domestic and the international completely differently, so do not worry too much.

The important thing to know is that the system is very different. For the Worlds in Torino, LA, or Goteborg, they each had sole website to sell tickets for worldwide.
That probably won't happen this time.

I am not sure how to order tickets yet. I got the information when I wrote to info@worlds2011.jp
They sent me the information per email and said that orders are being taken from people outside Japan only at the moment.

I just ordered two tickets. I will let you know how the process goes.

I'd love to go. I used to live in Tokyo as a child so I speak Japanese pretty well. I miss the cherry blossoms and the sushi Now only if I could get the event tickets.

I would say very late March you'd be in with a very good chance of seeing cherry blossoms.
To think that fun is simple fun, while earnest things are earnest, proves all too plain that neither one thou truthfully discernest.

Tastes differ of course. But since we speak about fashion both Harajuku and Shibuya are ridiculous. They are in guidebooks because foreigners are amused to see people there who look hillarious and nobody is laughing at them. But then you actually feel disappointed and even annoyed to see so much silly-looking fashions around.

The cherry blossoms were out during Worlds 2007 and gorgeous. The weather was also fantastic.
