Let my Peeple Go
I like the DC High Heel peeps race.
I know one of the people who did the Korean war memorial - she went to my law school.
I think I will have a snack and take a nap before I eat and go to sleep.
I love how Peeps contests show regional variations. Seattle Times' contest is so west coast...I loved "Peepfontaine" and had to pass it along to track nut Mr. Ice.
The Wash Posts' dioramas were so ornate! A lot to live up to! Appeepently they have good design sense out there...
Well, and a few years doing it, and each year a big spread on the web and in the magazine with stories and now video.
If you haven't already checked out the videos they filmed telling more about the top five winners in the Washington Post contest, take a look. There's even more detail than you realize.
And, if you like the Peep dioramas, you'd probably also like the Edible Book Contest, held locally around the country (and the world) in the next week or two. Here's a link to the one in our town, with some pictures from the past:

(Personally I think I'm so fascinated because I'm so utterly incompetent at all things crafty.)
