I think their reputations are affecting how we view the situation. Tony has been on for a number of seasons, and doesn't seem to be unduly moody or tempermental . Kate is perceived as having control issues. I suspect she wasn't even trying it his way which was probably frustrating for him.

Of course, I could be manipulated by a 45 second clip and be totally wrong.

And waah, waah, waah - "a lot of people quit on me in life".

Again, no idea what Tony's like as a teacher, but I can see that how he was presenting it might not have been working for her. Kate, however, may not be great as expressing that in "I feel . . ." rather than "You always . . ." terms.

And really, that was much worse than Buzz. He at least looked like he was having fun.

The one thing I took away from this week was that Evan is getting undermarked! His scores should be much closer to Nicole's.

If I took two things away, the second is that Kate Gosselin is never wrong and always right. It's everyone else's fault.

Yes, I am prejudiced because I want Evan to do well, but good grief-he has tons more performance quality than Nicole. She's very bland. I gues that's easy for me to say because I don't have the hormones to appreciate her sexuality. But I don't think Evan's that sexy either! He's a sweet, hard-working kid, and he's a better dancer than Nicole in my humble opinion.
It's easy to do a simply stretch at the end of a phrase and make it look pretty. Nicole is good at that, but the in-between isn't as good.

I also think Pamela is a hoot. Just a fun, silly, ridiculous thing. She's absolutely ridiculous, and I love her for it!

Kate is scary.

I thought Evan's marks were ok, but Nicolle's were definitely too high. Two tens - really?!? But maybe Evan is better off not getting insanely high marks so early though, avoid backlash!

Kate reminded me of the bratty children I used to teach tap and ballet to during my college days. There was always one who did not want to come to class but who had a mom demanding that she be allowed to be in the recital. The little girl always looked at the others on stage while they were dancing and never seem connected to the music or to the performance.

Kate looks just like that. I would have loved it if Tony had just kept walking right out of that practice and never came back.

I would have loved it if we saw Frank standing by the side of the dance floor, giving encouraging last minute reminders to Evan before he and Ana took the floorand counting out the rotations during the dance

Kate was sooo unpleasant (surprise!!! not). Does she want to be voted off first? Even in the last part when Brooke was giving out their phone number she just stood there scowling. Honey, that's the part where you smile and beg for votes!!

Kate has ALWAYS been unpleasant. It's the only remarkable thing about her aside from having 8 kids and horrific hair. WHO thought it would be a good idea to have her on this show? They should be shot.

I'm watching the show right now, and I have to say that Pamela's plain silver dress is simply stunning.
