SYTYCD Pre-Season 7 thread: CASTING SPOILERS

According to epguides.com, SYTYCD will debut on Thursday May 27th.

What exactly is the problem between Danny and the show (there obviously is one, because they never mention him the way they do other great participants from the show) - does the rumor mill have anything to say about this? Did he leave with bad feelings because of the whole way he was presented as "arrogant", or did something else happen?

I’m curious about Danny as well. Did anyone hear anything about him being difficult to work with? Danny and Mark would be my #1 and #2 picks for returning All-Stars. ETA: And Jakob would be on my podium too.

So we know seven of the 10 all-stars...

While collecting the above info, I saw links to a "scandal" about Ade, which might have happened while he was filming his season. Nude pics, or something? I didn't want to hunt through all the links to get concrete info...hadn't heard anything about any contestant on this show being in a scandal. Or am I out of the loop?

Found this, too (no scandal): Comfort recently performed as a reform school girl in the "Bootylicious" number in the "Hairography" episode of the television show Glee.

All the people I know who know Danny, and I do know a few from the Denise Wall days to Kirov Academy to within the past year, say he is an absolute sweetheart-very sensitive. I won't claim to being that far in the know, but it's a small community, and I think if he was difficult one would hear. However, I do know that he has had a hard time deciding what to do with his career and life-he is so vastly talented and has had so much opportunity so fast....I think he's a bit fragile. But difficult....he might be, but I haven't heard that, not that I'm an authority....

Sometimes artistic people are very moody and if they aren't Mr. Congeniality to every stranger they meet, they get spoken of as "difficult," etc. I'm not going to believe it without more info.

Woot! I looove Mark! Maybe this will lead to an opportunity for him to choreograph for the show.

The rumor I read said that Danny hadn't even been invited to do the show. I wonder if they don't want him on because he'll make everyone else look so bad and also because he would be a reminder about how stupid the judges and producers were with him when he was on the show.

I've never been impressed with Comfort. OTOH, Jaimie and Ellenore would be great. (I knew that they would go with Lauren, though. I never though she was anything special and founder her annoying.)

Some day, I would like to see Ellenore and Mark dance together. Maybe the show can have some of the pros do a dance on results night like they do on DWTS.
