Forget puppy cam - try eagle cam!

Very cool! A momma eagle with three babies. There is a live chat where you can post questions about the eagles, too.

Mom just finished feeding them, and now it appears she is sitting on them. Maybe put to bed for the night.

Ha ha, the bald eagle parents were just having a bit of a "dispute". It looks like the mom is feeding the chicks and daddy is in the way.

Both parents were there this afternoon - along with a fish they were feeding the "kids".

    just about ready to fledge

The "kids" are almost ready to fly the coop! They're flapping their wings quite a bit and hopping to various branches. No one has left the nest tree yet, though.

Here is a Peregrine Falcon cam in Winnipeg Manitoba, (that's Canada ). The roost is on a downtown hotel and is part of a re-introduction program started a number of years ago. This one was specially constructed to shelter from winds and our frequent spring/early summer driving rain storms. This female peregrine has a new mate this year and I believe this is the first time they have actually used this roost. In prior years they stubbornly insisted on an unprotected ledge. A couple of years ago tragically the chicks died after a bad rain storm despite all efforts to save them.
