My mom abhors Lady Gaga, but I love her. I always like people who have the ability to make me want to dance lol. She's just fun, she's a showwoman. I expect over the top and bizarre, and love it.
Also this song is great to work out to

I liked the video and I like the song, I think it is a very well produced song. The Fame Monster, I love. I can't wait for the release of "So Happy I Could Die", which I think is an instant classic, It will be played in clubs for years to come.

Lady Gaga's stuff is ridiculously catchy. I'm a bit older than her target demographic, but I still enjoy her songs. Even though I know it's soulless pop. And Gaga ADMITS it's soulless pop.
The video of course has nothing to do with the actual song, but gave Gaga and Beyonce an excuse to throw together a crazy bizarre concept video. I saw it debut on E! a couple nights ago (because it's not like there are specific "music video channels" that specialize in playing music videos anymore). Yeah, it's shock for shock value's sake and nothing we haven't seen in various forms before, but, like the song, it's ridiculously catchy.
It's a damn shame what they did to that dog, though.
If Gaga had managed to get Harvey Keitel to make a cameo, that would have been money. The song's all about phone calls, and in a couple movies referenced by the video (Pulp Fiction and Thelma and Louise....the final shot of Gaga and Beyonce's clasped hands is practically a direct lift from T+L), Harvey Keitel's character has some key telephone conversations with the protagonists.

Great clip! Thanks. Lady Gaga is definitely has a strong voice and isn't Britney Spears or some other lip-sync dependent when it comes to performing, I just wish her songs were more interesting. I think she has talent, but her songs are the same, mindless pop songs that everyone does right now.
I LOVE IT.
Video has nothing to do with the song, but whatever. First song by her I actually liked!
Oh, and I guess I was right....she does look like an 80's Madonna at one point.

I only watch the video for the last 3 minutes so I can enjoy Mark Kanemura's dancing.I do think the song is catchy but I think she's reaching a limit as to how much farther she can take this style. She has talent so I'm hoping she'll branch out in some new direction before she becomes a complete caricature of herself.
I love the fact that her sunglasses in the prison are made out of cigarettes.I didn't get it at first but I realized that in prison cigarettes are worth more than anything so that would be like walking around with diamond studded sunglasses in the outside world.

I love that the cigarette sunglasses are actually smoking while she's wearing them![]()

I was bored. Turned it off in the middle. I like the Bad Romance video, though.
And I do enjoy her songs.
wow, someone went bedazzler-happy on some of those outfits.
Studded clothes, underwear, accessories can stay in the past, thanks!
Like many of you, I still prefer the Bad Romance video. More 'subtle'...hahahahaha.
This cover is genius:

It should start playing, if another song of theirs is playing then just look for the Telephone cover on the right side menu.

I can't believe I missed this thread when it was started.
I've been compelled to watch this video every night just because it makes me laugh every time.
