Thanks for posting that... I cannot love that program and his skating enough. And that's probably his best performance of La Traviata yet IMO. Just amazing. Those are two of the best step sequences I've ever seen..the serpentine just sends chills down my spine. I hope he brings the program to shows in Japan and Korea. I so want to see that program skated on full-size ice again.

    Thank you Reut!

I agree with Shine, his step sequences are a piece of artistic heaven.
Hope you see it live again soon!

With the quality of jumps here I wouldn't call it the best performance, but I still enjoyed seeing him so free, he is just flying over the ice, amazing.

Here are videos of all the show "Kings on Ice" in Prague:

His jumps might never be as they were before. His poor little knees are so bad. He's still the best spinner and footwork artist around.

Well, here, just a week or something before Prague his jumps were much better.

I'd call this performance of La Traviata the best at the moment.

    5. Decision of the ISU Council on Eligibility of Mr. Evgeny Plushenko (RUS)
Based on evidence presented the Council has concluded that Mr. Evgeny Plushenko breached the
ISU eligibility rule 102, paragraph 2, i) of the ISU General Regulations and as a consequence has
become ineligible under paragraph 7 a) of that rule. The evidence has proved to the satisfaction
of the Council that Mr. E. Plushenko, a skater and member of the Figure Skating Federation of
Russia (FSFR), skated in exhibitions held in March and April 2010, in Russia and other
countries, without the express prior authorization of the FSFR. Such activity is a breach of the
ISU eligibility rules and results in the loss of eligibility.

Apparently, the ISU agreed with me.

So if Johnny skated in Kings of Ice, does that automatically disqualify him from future ISU competitions? Hence, those who equally hate Plushy and Johnny must be doing their Happy Dance about now.

So I guess it is obvious that Weir got permission from the USFSF or maybe he didn't and it was just bitter people in the Russian federation about Plushenko not going to worlds who went to the ISU to get him disqualified forever.

Weir did NOT submit his withdrawal from Worlds citing an injury. Hence, his situation is different than Plushenko's.

Weir would have retained his ISU and USFS eligibility as long as he filed the required ESCA form with USFS ahead of time and had it approved.

    hmm I want more info!
I will be in Prague in April anyway and Budapest is not that far from there. Besides one of my best friends lives there.
