As recently updated on their icenetwork bio (thanks, TABFan!):
Ah well, so the wait continues. I wonder how not having to learn new compulsories this year - and only having to deal with 2 programs - changes their training. Perhaps they've had more time to work on things?2011 Season Notes
SD Music: TBD
FD Music: TBD
Goal is to win the World championship
Also, do you guys think they'll keep that backward camel entrance into the spin next season too? I love it, especially how they seem to be able to do it at the drop of a hat, but they've used it for 2 years now. I'll be sad to see it go if it does.
I like that camel entrance too. Even if they don't use it in competition, I'm sure we'll see it in exhibition, maybe?
I can't wait to find out their music choices, especially as we're starting to hear other dance teams' selections.
I'm crazily in love with that entrance, it's so beautiful and unique and became kind of their trademark. I really don't care they've been using it in every single dance for two years, I still want more and will be very disappointed if they give it up. And hope they won't
I adore that back camel entrance, too, and wouldn't mind if they kept it as a signature move. They do it better than many teams...pairs and dance.
And yes, the wait to find out their music goes on. As always, the drama of ice dance (we must keep our secrets!).
I've been thinking for awhile that it would be cool if a dance team could portray marionette puppets- like one skater is the puppeteer (? lol) controlling the actions of the other skater by use of invisible strings. And then I realized that I would love for Meryl and Charlie to do this.
Just wanted to say that.
Unfortunately a puppet program is bound to have problems showing unison. I'd love to see a gala of it though.
Meryl & Charlie have another award. Charlie in short hair and glasses looks very college student!

Nice montage from Amber (as usual )
I feel like I'm going through skating withdrawal! I've enjoyed reading about the summer competitions, but I'm ready for the GP series if for nothing more than to find out what Meryl and Charlie are skating to!!
Last nigth I was listening to Regina Spektor (my new adtion) and I really wish Meryl and charlie skate to any of her songs, there is something sweet about ir that goes with them
