She's awful. She'll attend the same press conference as a dozen other news outlets, whether figure skating or some other topic, and her version is always full of conclusions and opinion masquerading as information.

Google her sometime -she's very popular.

I don't put too much trust in Rosie DiManno's conclusions, and she can be downright nasty most of the time. I suppose she would call it "creative writing", I call it "sensationalism" when it truly isn't called for in most cases.

I've seen it used a few times in that context but it is mainly used to indicate a wished for relationship.

It definitely means wanting them to be in a relationship.

A common term I've heard for obsessed uber-fans of a celebrity is "stan" as seen in Eminem's video "Stan." Hahaha.

And then the announcer told the audience that the night's anthem speaker was ... all of them! It was funny watching Scott belt it out but it was almost subdued compared to when he was at the top of the podium and had just received his gold medal. Tessa seems to be enjoying her "new job" of dropping in on hockey games and dropping the puck.
