    My mistake.

I still think V/M and Roots would have ended up together.

Yes, I forget how many years HBC's contract was for... could it be coming up for a new bid ? When the deal was awarded to HBC it was still a Canadian company. No more. Roots is a Canadian company, and now has yet another prominent pair of sports heroes as spokespeople...potentially mutually beneficial ?...just wondering...

Does David get a finder's fee...? that's mostly a joke ...I like David.

Speaking of David....he's mentioned a lot in this article. He's acting as agent/mentor. So maybe he did get a finder's fee Pratfall

Awesome pictures but I wish they could've dropped another hint about their music choices! It's sad to hear that Tessa's injury is still causing her some problems. I hope they're able to manage it in such a way that they can continue to skate as much as they want (competitions/shows/tours/etc) for as long as they want.

Wow, they look great. And it's too bad about her injury.

Thanks for the link to the IFS cover! I'm surprised to see that the geeky photo in which they're wearing glasses isn't included in the article.

I loved that picture, it was really cute.

Some info about V/M's programs from PJ Kwong's blog (from the thread in GSD):

o, one more tango from S-Z teams. I like T-S tangos, but..... Why they didnt choose foxtrot or quick-step?
I think it will be something in there 2008-2009 OD style.
As for FD..... Look, like it will be something fast. But if T essa have a pain - maybe they dont need to try skate fast, like D-W?
I think we are lucky, that Tessa decide to skate one more season with this paine. Pure Tessa

I remember Tessa saying that her favorite CD was the Argentine tango, because of all the "passion." I think she just loves tangos in general! I'll admit that if I had Scott as partner, I'd find a way to do them quite often myself.....

Tango/Waltz/Tango? Not too crazy about that but a "Great Gatsby" era feel is intriguing. Reminds me a bit of the costumes they wore for practice 2 years ago.

Modern Samba/Rhumba/Samba that's fast and starts with a bang? I can't wait to see what they've come up with. I'm more excited now than when I just heard Latin and was worried about the Generic Igor Latin FD.

Me too! Such a shallow reason to be excited about something Great Gatsby era-ish, but I can't help it.

Thanks literaryfreak for copying my post here! I agree OlieRow and sap5... my immediate thought from "Great Gatsby theme" was the costumes they wore at practice at Canadians. I hope they use something similar for this program!

I don't think those costumes would fit a tango, though. I'm guessing she'd want to do something that is more flapper-esque.

ISU bios for skaters from USA was updated. What about team Canada? And no information about team Canada test camp....
Hope Tessa and Scott will show some of there new programs at show 22 September. Anybody will be there? How do you think, will Tessa and Scott have new exibition number this season?
