How on earth could we have lose 5-3 to the US!? And then there was Chris Del Bosco. The US skier who competes for us. Poor fellow overcame drug and alcohol abuse to become an olympian only to fall metres from the finish line in ski cross and finish fourth. But he is young and will be back I am sure.

Your dearest Auntie icedance took about 20-30 lessons in an adult group class. She learned "crossovers" , standing straight up without falling , skating forward , skating backward, and that was about it. Her coach actually suggested that she set up a goal of competing as an adult in those adult competitions. Anyways, Auntie did that mostly out of curiosity, but now she's gotten over the curiosity phase. She doubts she'll ever set foot on ice again.
