Such a shame we can't slo-mo that because I am not 100% sure it wasn't cheated.
Still, great execution especially taking into consideration the choreography before and after it.
VEry nice. Well controlled pre-rotation and good speed. Landing within the allowance of 90 degree, looks to me. All done without exaggerating knee bend or step-up, which suggests that Liza should be able to add a bit more power to the jump if necessary. Great flow.
From the reaction from the staff or the spectators, I suspect that consistency may not be there yet. But, considering how cleanly the jump was executed, she will be alright -- well, I certainly hope so.
Great job, Liza.
Such ease, and the arc of the jump was really nice. She doesn't just go straight up.

Her arms are beautiful as well![]()
==" Evgeni Plushenko is 2006 Olympic Champion, 2002,2010 Olympic silver medalist in figure skating and will compete in Sochi 2014 "==
Hope consistency is a factor that works for her.Her jumps are so light and easy, beautiful skater.
Good God @ that 3A.
Dare I say it's prettier than Mao's?! I hope she can maintain this kind of form...
Riding the wave - Polina Shelepen
Growing is a real issue, as coach Eteri Tutberidze explained: "She grew a lot during the winter, and for some reason she is always growing during the winter, since she was little. She has grown overall 10 centimeters last winterShelepen's talent for jumping showed early. Tutberidze remembered a funny story from the beginning of her student's career. "At her first competition, she was six years old, she did all doubles. She finished first and we had to show her birth certificate. They were saying, 'that's not possible, it's not true that a six-year-old girl can do all the doubles'. Her mother came and showed her passport with Polina's date of birth, but they still didn't really believe it."![]()

Darya Medevedeva's new LP. She won Crystal Skate this year and is just barely too young to compete on the JGP this season. Still, that is a pretty impressive program with some great choreography. I look forward to seeing her skate this season, looks like she has a good shot at qualifying and doing well at the Russian Nationals.
Also, this user has videos of other Russian skaters from Mishin's summer camp in Tartu up on youtube.
Yeah, Darya is very promising and always fun to watch! I hope she will do well at Russian events this season and want to see her at the JGP next year!
BTW, there is another very interesting girl from Mishin's group. Her name is Natalia Ogoreltseva and she is very young (born in 2000), but already has difficult triples like flip and loop and I also like her spins. I think we should remember her name!

The JGP list of entries for the 2nd event in Romania is now up, and Roza Sheveleva is listed as one of the competitors, so I'm assuming Zaseeva will not be getting (an) assignment(s)?
Elena Radionova rocked the house today at the Moscow Open! 104 points for LP, 153 overall, a clean FS with all triples and 2A-3T combo... And she is only 11, wow!

She is a star!
Elena Radionova a better angle.
