    Project Runway 7

Are we ready for the new season?? I am - I have missed it these past few months. Here's Lifetime's link to the designers:

As much as I hated season 6, I am looking forward to the new season.
It has moved back to New York where it belongs, and Nina Garcia and Michael Kors are back for the entire season, consistent judging!

None of the portfolios on the show's website blew me away, but Ping and Emilio are my very early favorites.

We're having our traditional PR premier party! I'm going to serve sangria, so I decided to make it a tribute to Spanish designers like Balenciaga, Prada, and Blahnik. I have a very fabulous dress in the works -- should be fun!

Lucy, you're in the exit row of sorts. Are you physically and mentally able for the duties therein? The threadstarter for Project Runway pledges to think of clever titles, and to change up these titles at least twice monthly. Good luck!

Wow, I guess you can gauge how bad last season was by how this season snuck up on us.

Go Latin men! I want to like Emilio Sosa just for his awesome name. But also because he seems to have come from nothing. Rooting for him.

I like Jesus Estrada's past work. Dramatic and well-made. Could be a Christianesque contestant.

    No beefcake at all. Boo!

Jonathan has the potential to be this season's cryer. (((( Christopher ))))

Played Jesse's audition tape, not sure why. The boy gets hammered for the awful pieces he brought ... but still makes the show. Must've needed a straight boy in the cast for the girls to pant over. (Luckily, he "is" cuter than last season's model, at least.)

No - I had no idea about the responsibility. Someone please feel free to give me suggestions of how to change the title of the thread to something cleaver. Or better yet, some witty admin has my permission to do that herself!

I never had Bravo when PR was on there, so I have no idea how different the two are, but I can tell from the posts in the last thread that followers were none to pleased with it once it moved to Lifetime. I personally really enjoyed season 6, but I didn't know any differently!

    What? There's a witty admin?

You'll be fine. Just toss in "hot mess", "tranny", "that's a lot of look", or "make it work" into a relevant thought, and forward it to whichever admin you find least mean, asking for them to do a title change for you. Should you require some help, there are ghostwriters aplenty.

So ... "make it work, Lucy, you hot tranny mess". (See how easy?)

Designers on one page Guess who one of the designers lists as his or her favorite designer?

    Spoiler

Whee, can't wait to see how he or she interacts.

Models of the Runway cast Oh my, Canadian gal has the worst legs ... and the face ain't exactly making up the difference. And the face on Miss Salisbury I suppose she'll do if her designer really really wants to have an opposing view that will highlight out the beauty of his/her design?

I love that so many of them admire LaCroix. May they be equally voidy.

I'd have sold my soul early and exclaimed "Michael Kors!!!" as my favorite designer.
