I know that we have had many threads on commercials you hate....

Being house bound for winter and snow, they seem a bit more annoying at this moment in time.

Geiko is on my

list right now. Between the lizard, the cavemen, the googly eyes and now the stupid guy who is I assume is supposed to be like Tommy Lee Jones (is that the guy I am thinking about), I am not sure that even if Geiko could say me 20% or more on car insurance I would do it.

That and the tailgate approved idiot.

That commercial with the woman who played Jackie on "Roseanne" about the little boy who has nothing in Africa or something. I'm sorry, I know its for charity, but her whining tone and near tears voice just CRINGE on me to no end. I can't even stand to watch that commercial AT ALL anymore and grab the remote and flip until that commercial is over. And I noticed the exact same commercial with the exact same script no less, but being read by Jeff Bridges. I'm sorry, but I can't stand that commercial.

i hate all the ASPCA commercials. they make me feel terrible.

one that i think is so cute is the one with jennifer aniston for st. jude. that little girl is cute as hell, cured, and it seems like aniston actually enjoyed working with her.

I love this commercial so much that it makes me wish I lived in the USA so I could buy a Fairpoint Bundle. (There is some talk of them making a Bundle to sell. I want one!)

I hate most of the pharmeceutical commercials, with their endless list of horrifying side effects.

I hate the one where the annoyingly coy girlfriend is asking her annoyingly dopey boyfriend who he would save from falling over a cliff.

Me too!!! HATE it. Her tearing up and sounding like she wants to cry seems too orchestrated and not very genuine. JMO.

The not too heavy, not too light beer one. Where the wife staples the boutineer to the husband's chest and offers to help him with his zipper, where the lady tries to get the waiter's attention and where the dog is driving the car...

However I do think the Coors light commercials with the coaches press conferences intermixed with questions about Coors Light are

OMG!!! sssssoooooooo agree with you!! That commercial is utterly cringeworthy!! Do the Folgers people not see the innuendo seething thru that commercial that I do (and that you do too)?! If I drank coffee (which I don't) I would swear off Folgers forever because of that commercial.

That new one for Hydroxine or is it Hydrotone?? Anyway, the woman looks in the mirror, says that she's looking old and "no wonder men look through me"... I can't believe an ad like that could make it on the air. Totally ugh.

The Amazon Kindle one with the blonde lady and annoying pop song that gets stuck in my head; the part where she shoots and then the red curtain goes down is gross, imo.

Any ad with tinkly piano music. At Christmas there seemed to be waaaaay too many.

That sad ASPCA one

: I've had a very sad time these last couple of months and that ad is just too much for me, always is really but especially now. But God bless them!

One of the few ads I've liked recently was the Progressive one with Santa trying to disguise himself when his "ho ho ho" laugh gives him away so he clears his throat and says "ha ha ha". Kind of cute.

I still love the Geico gecko

I can't stand the ones for Olay, the woman's voice is so smug and annoying.

I have to say I loved the Target ad over Christmas that featured a family on Christmas morning, dad on his knees behind the TV adjusting wires, while one son is has the video camera trained in close up of the dad's butt. Dad keeps asking if it is working yet while the son keeps saying no, meanwhile the rest of the family is in hysterics in the background.

I have to admit I have a soft spot for the "Messin' with Sashquach" commercials. Pure 12 year old boy mentality, but I giggle every time. There's just something about watching a 7 foot tall Chewbacca opening a shook-up can of cola......

Every commercial has a "victim" mentality to them, whiney pissy my underwear is in a bunch about something crap! Pathetic!

Thats why we record and fast forward through ALL commercials and I usually get up and do something if I watch "live" TV.
