You don't sound very compassionate about it.

Oh dear, drink some tea, then. Tea is very compassionate.

What about doughnuts? Are they compassionate too? (wondering how far the nearest Tim's is)

Donuts are very compassionate. I always turn to them when I need a little TLC.

Yep. I was hoping there would be donuts this morning at work. Instead, we're stuck with disgusting cinnamon/raisin bagels.

Will there ever be a way to adjust the software so these kinds of things don't ever need to be done? Also will we ever be able to read post from a member's profile again?

I found some images of school figures online that I'd like to post in the school figures thread.

I can't link directly and the way the website is set up it would be very complicated to explain to people what to click to find them.

I was able to save them in a Word document.

I have no means to post them online to provide my own link.

Is there someone who does have such a means that I could send the images to?

Wasn't it possible to save them as images? They'd be much smaller that way.

You could upload them to a free image hosting site like Photobucket, Webshots, etc. But they have to be image files for that.

Not that I can figure out. Right clicking is not an option; I can highlight and copy to another document but I can't create a new image document. Maybe I need some other software that I don't have on this computer.

If you have Windows you can make a screenshot of every photo online (unless it's bigger than your desktop size, then you'll only catch a part of it) using the Print Screen key on your keyboard, then paste it into Paint program and from there you can save it as an image file (preferably a jpeg).

    How to do it:
Find the photo you want to capture. Press Print Screen key (or Prt Scrn/Sys Rq on some keyboards), open Paint and choose Paste from the Edit menu. Then save it as a jpeg. Voila.

Btw, sometimes you have to use Alt + Print Screen together to make it work. On my computer it works without Alt, but I think on my old one I had to press Alt with it.

Thanks for the advice, Windspirit. Unfortunately, that's not working for me either. They're not photos, BTW -- they're just line diagrams.

I did my best to describe in the thread how to find them. Maybe someone else who's more technically savvy can figure out how to capture them and make them more accessible.

It does not matter if they are photos, prtsc (print screen) just saves whatever is on your screen at that moment. If you have a lap top you may have a button which says "Fn" which you may have to press.
