I'm curious. There seem to be a bunch of people with more than $1000 in vcash. How is that possible since we started with $500 and the first bet paid out at a maximum of 2-1?

You get what you made - $1000 - plus your original bet back if you win.

I have no real understanding how odds work and have never placed a real bet on anything in my life, but I've given it a shot and will probably lose my drawers...which will please my hubby to no end!

stupid question...if the odds are less than 1 (e.g., 2/5) does that mean you lose $ even if you win? or that reduced amount is added to the original wager so you actually do win $?

No. You get back your original wager in full, pluss wour winnings. So if it was 2:5, and you bet $5, you'd make an additional $2 for a total of $7.

Btw, is there a way to change a bet (increase in this case) once it's already been put? I realised I bet on something a while ago and don't like what I bet
