Yes, that's right but quite a few of them are still skating (I think only one or two like PJ retired). It was quite fascinating how different British coaching style is - very "nicey nicey" 😂
I agree. My teenage daughter does a different sport (show jumping) to a high level and she constantly gets yelled at by her coach who is really tough on her. But she doesn't like the nicer coaches because she doesn't feel they are able to achieve the same results with the nicey nicey approach.
I find it really disingenuous to compare the plight of poor adult big bloke Bruno who was dragged against his will to unimaginable career success that he could only have dreamed of (by being forced to work hard and shouted at) to the plight of people truly trapped in abusive relationships they...
Women don't leave because they are usually trapped- no financial means to support themselves independently or be able to afford to rent/buy anywhere to live. It wasn't an abusive relationship where Bruno couldn't leave. He had a family, a girlfriend, a place to live etc. He wasn't tied to Aliona...
But why didn't he leave? He was not a child trapped in a situation he couldn't get out of. He could have quit the partnership and left her. She didn't kidnap him and hold him against his will. She wasn't beating him up. He was being shouted at and forced to work hard to achieve the goal he...
I'm completely out of touch, so apologies for the stupid question, but has she split with Liam?
As for Bruno, I have no sympathy. He was nothing without her and wanted the OGM. Now that he achieved it thanks to her, he can badmouth her.
Belated reaction, but...
What?!? She's 16, isn't she?! And now is the perfect time to break into the medals with no Russia or China in the mix. Why wouldn't she want to try for an Olympic medal/win?!
