It was a software issue and was fixed a few hours ago. :)

Indeed, it's not a new issue. I think for the time being, the only real way to "fix" it is to prevent links like that from loading their content in the post and instead require folks to click the link.

Nothing more than what anyone else can already see -- the content you've posted here publicly and your last visited status (if you're choosing to share that publicly, see below). They clicked the button on your profile to "follow" you. Your posts (that they have permission to view) are included...

I just rolled out the update that fixes this. Let me know if any further weirdness occurs. Thanks. :)

I think this is down to a bug in the core software. I'll look in to that. This sounds like your device needs an update. Little boxes showing in place of emojis usually means your system doesn't know how to represent that particular emoji which is the case for newer ones.

For those having the issue and on Android, could you try using Google Chrome and seeing if it happens there?

I'm still not understanding the issue being described here. Could someone please submit a screen recording of what's happening? I'm not having an issue on my phone so it's hard to troubleshoot without seeing what's happening.

What phone and browser are you having this issue with? What browser is this happening in?

Clicking the thread title link will take you to different places depending on whether you've read the posts or not. If you've read everything in a thread, you'll be taken to the first post. If there are new posts, you'll be taken to the first unread. Is that what you're seeing?
