    I loved Elena Sokolova's SP in 2003.

    My favourite was Jeffrey Buttle's long program. Pure magic. My favourite free of his.

    Thanks for the video link! I've never seen that routine before, but I really enjoyed it, he reminds me a bit of Denis Petrov.

    i agree! i wish a/p would've done this for their olympic FD instead of libertas.

    Absolutely, and they should have been on the world podium with it (as good as they were @ US Nationals, they were even better @ Worlds)!

    I agree with you. Jeffrey Buttle's lp at the Olympics won the bronze medal. There were a couple of mistakes made but the program was so beautiful. He is such an elegant skater.

    Yes, Davis and White's S&D was brilliant. Who was the singer in that. Such a pretty voice too.

    RE: Jeff Buttle.... yes, I preferred the original version too. The Olympic performance of it is never the one I think of with this music. I even forgot he did it there.

    I too forgot about that performance. It was mistake-filled, and not memorable. Buttle was a beautiful skater but way too inconsistent for my taste

    The sequence of field moves, the camel spin in the opposite direction... so many amazing bits to that program.

    Agreed. I chose other (meaning Buttle) and Rochette. Although I prefer the Japan Open version of Rochette's program better.

    D/W and Ashley Wagner. I don't think I've ever seen the Fleming or Slutskaya versions. I like Ashley's better than Joannie's since it's a bit more spirited.
