That was hard. I had to leave guys like Yagudin and Lambiel (among others) off the list. Too many guys I love.

I've only been following skating for a couple of years, so everyone on my list is a current skater. My personal favorites, in no order...

    Johnny Weir
    Jeremy Abbott
    Daisuke Takahashi
    Takahiko Kozuka

    :cheer:

The last spot would be either Patrick Chan, Brian Joubert, or Evan Lysacek. There are things I really like and things I really dislike about all three, so it's kind of a toss up. I've also enjoyed watching Adam Rippon and Florent Amodio this season, but I haven't seen enough from them to judge yet.

I'm trying to list only the names of skaters who revolutionarized the sport, because of their participations in it. That's how Uncle Dick defines greatness.

I agree with inflameduntamed on Jeremy. And include Adam Rippon in that.

Singles men, not pairs or dance, right?

    My personal top 5:

    Stephane Lambiel
    Alexi Yagudin
Kurt Browning (as a pro, not as an eligible skater)
    Stanick Jennette
    Jeffrey Buttle

I can only comment on those from my era, as I really haven't seen too much of the men who came earlier.
