I never keep them, by my resolution for 2012 is to NOT gossip...
What say you?
Not gossiping -- what fun is that?
For 2001, my resolution was to witness -- in person -- Sale and Pelletier win worlds. I succeeded.
Last year, I vowed to quit smoking -- after nearly 20 years, I decided it was time. And I actually DID!! For this year, I pledge to remain a non-smoker. And that I shall do!
start every morning with a bellini
last yr my resolution was to drink more and spend more time looking at cats on the internet and i succeeded at both.
Oh, I forgot to mention:
Loosing that ever-elusive ten extra pounds.
Cleaning up all my closets and keeping then that way.
Wasting as much time as humanly possible playing the "Bubble Shooter Game."
It's not much fun at all, and I often don't succeed, but for some reason, it's important for me to keep on trying year after year...

I am drunk, so maybe I am missing something. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Well here they are so far:
1. Lose weight
2. get my finances in order
3. get a full time job
4. get an iPad
Mine is to lose weight too.
I type this as I am sitting in bed eating Baileys chocolates.
Well, you've got to finish off what's in the house or that's just wasteful Says she who had mince pie for breakfast
Be less busy, drop things that are a burden to my life, get fitter and eat better. And get on top of things at work so that I don't feel like I am playing catch up, so get all the tasks on my action items done or at least have a better understanding of them.
1) Organize paperwork (with the two moves, they are scattered everywhere)
2) Tone up with my new gym membership
3) Smile more, be more optimistic person
4) Stop complaining so much
5) Expand my circle of friends
Spend at least one hour a day cleaning/organizing.
Stop using the elevator at work when I can use the stairs.
Be a tad less snarky.
1) Lose the 4 pounds I put on this Christmas, and once that's done, work on the ten other pounds I don't want.
2) Find another job, or at least an extra job, that actually gives me satisfaction.
3) Take my month long trip this fall.
Spend more time with my granddaughters.
Get some renovations started on the house.
Lose 20-30 lbs by summer.
Get three stars in every level of Angry Birds.
Work better, think positive, floss twice a day, eat more fruits and vegs., drink little or none (!), shine or clean shoes, no more eating on bed, save more money, don't waste time, be more decisive, forgive but be smart.
I just want it to be better than last year, because 2011 was the worst year of my life...
I have spent the last 10 years making the same resolutions over and over....so I'm going to go with a new approach this year and not make any. By MLK Day they are usually forgotten or I have bean myself up for not having kept to them. So this year I'm just going to do my level best to be a better me and let that be that!
Improve my Vietnamese! I can understand it when spoken to me alright, but my speech sucks. I sound like a California surfer dude when I speak it. It also takes me forever to say something in Vietnamese. For example, whenever people ask me how old I am, I have to count from "1" to my age before I can spit out the number. The older I get, the longer it takes me to answer this basic question!
Just wanted to add to my list that I would love to reduce the amount of meat in my diet.
Turn of the year is pretty much the worst time to make any resolutions.
1. Get rid of haters in me
2. Work harder on my majors
3. Graduate with fine gpa and get a fine job
4. Travel, anywhere!
In 1984 I resolved never to make New Years resolutions ever again. And I've kept that resolution ever since. Though the past couple of years it's been hard.
