What the fck was up with autotuning everyone? It was so blatant????!
Utterly contrived. I'm ashamed to have watched it :fragile:

In other news, Jackie can watch it Live from Dublin, next week! :cheer:

    :40beers:

Maybe they had so few good auditions? :( Or maybe the good ones needed a little bit of help to smooth out the rough spots, like the woman singing "Walking On Sunshine"?

Ablisa was ablismal  Granted I've only seen this show through Youtube clips, but why the heck did dumb just randomly punch dumber?

Dumber was being an obnoxious twat. Among other things she asked Natalie Imbruglia, "Err sorry, but who are you?" and had a go at the audience.

Sort of ironic that Cheryl Cole was shocked about someone hitting somebody else when you think back to this. :shuffle:

Oooh we have an XFactor thread. Although I've been so unimpressed with all of it so far. No one's standing out, even the cute guy who got through to Simon's judges house when he was 14 was :blah:

Ablisa are just , :yikes: and :scream: It's car crash but you can't stop watching!

Looking forward to the DVD. We now got a proper telly and a lovely new (bed) sofa. And tonight I might get the Cheryl Cole hair cut. (Yeah, has nothing to do with it, I know...)

Jackie, don't read the rest of this post or this thread until you get the DVDs. :p

I can't believe Cheryl picked Katie AND Cher. I can sort of understand Katie (even though she messed up her auditions), but I just find Cher not likable at all.

Shocking that Simon put through the two groups that had been put together:p, but I think it was the right choice. Teenies will like 1 Direction.

Dannii and Louis picked pretty who I thought would go through. It'll be interesting to see what happens on Saturday.

Eys it's all my fault for venting on FB last night. :drama: Soz Jackie ;)

I can understand Cher going through as she was actually ill and had nailed her other auditions. Also all my students adore her so she seems to have tapped into the 16+ market who do vote along with the teenies. What I DON'T understand is putting through that whiny freak with pigeons for eyelashes who blew two of her auditions and is a total drama queen.

As for Simon, well, shocking as you say Fred  Would really have preferred the geeky boy group to go through rather than 1 Direction, who didn't have a single harmony between them.

    I want British TV. :(

Cher is so freakin' annoying. I cannot stand her.

She's like a cheap version of Cheryl Cole, who is a cheap whore in the first place. The last thing we need is another.

But yeah I imagine that all the teenies must love her.

In love with Matt. He's got such insouciant charm.

Each to their own, I suppose. I don't think Cheryl is cheap or a whore.

Ignore him, Ziggy has one of his "I'm so frustrated" moments ;)

I will join the "conversation" once I've seen last weekend's episodes :D

I'm actually feeling perfectly fine today. ;)

I just have an allergic reaction to the mere sight of Cheryl Cole (although I do feel a bit bad now having expressed my distaste in such nasty terms :/).

A vacuous bimbo with a fa├žade of an annoying "bubbly" personality.

Not to mention her bland, cringe worthy "desperately trying to be trendy but failing miserably" music.

Cher seemed like a mini Cheryl, at first impression. That's why Cheryl instantly liked her so much I guess. :p

Uproar in the papers today and yesterday. The latest being that Gamu's visa might be an issue and Cheryl was told not to pick her. Surely someone in the Simon Cowell empire has enough pull to sort her visa out. Apparently over 100,000 complaints have been received demanding Gamu be reinstated.

I'm kind of shocked that the X Factor bosses didn't see this coming. Very short sighted on their part IMO.

Damn, I was 6 for 6 until Simon came on. I'm thinking he chose the two younger groups because they would go far in the competition and that he could make stars out of them. The girl group had more harmony than the boys, who were just singing one at a time.

Cheryl's picks totally threw me off, especially by not picking Gamu. She's a real star.

Does anyone have an idea what the twist is?

Oh no! This means lots of PUBLICITY for this TV show. Producers just hate lots of publicity for their shows! How unfortunate that this has popped up! ;)

I'm unclear. Are you saying that you are or you are not a fan of Cheryl's?
