I voted for "other" because purple wasn't listed as a choice.
Is "purple" a reference to someone?
Purple is a reference to everything...
Oh is it one of those "nothing but everything".....things?
robin wagner was banned??? what the what??
Perhaps she was banned for getting too cuddly with Speedy.
I believe it was a suspension and that the suspension is over. She's listed on the Ice House website as one of the coaches.
Didn't she allegedly try to poach somebody else's skater?
Wasn't she with Elene at the Olympics, though? I'm at the Ice House all the time and she was never noticeably absent for long periods of time..
I haven' read this thread yet but you guys are really entertaining! Mom as Yuna's coach, Yuna and Mao teaching eather other....LOL!!!
I don't think Yuna's thinking about Sochi yet. If she's aiming for Sochi, she might switch to a russian coach in 1~2 years time. For now, I predict she'll move to the States, find a coach there, be more close to Kwan....all of this for her future plan to become pro and do shows in the US (right now she's only known among people in korean town in LA).
I don't think she'll go back to Korea. The media and fans are too crazy there.
Anyhow, hope we'll get to see her in Worlds and many more.
and who is Arthurnian?
Rafael Aratunian was Michelle's coach towards the end. He was also one of Jeff Buttle's coaches and worked wtih Mao for a while as well.
My vote is for one of the coaches in Barrie like Lee Barkell. She's probably extremely used to living and training in Canada, and with Barrie being less than an hour away from Toronto, and also an elite training centre (she'd be training alongside Nobunari Oda) it makes sense. Plus, aside from Nobu, Lee doesn't have many top of the world-class skaters right now. Lee's skaters often also work with David Wilson. Lee is also the former coach of Jeff Buttle who at one time choreographed for Yu Na.
Thanks I know
Just a bit annoyed each time those russkies names spelled incorrectly (even if Rafael ArUtunian is an Armenian). Why not bother and google?
Which coach would seem to be the biggest pushover? Whoever it is, should be prepared for an abrupt break-up with lots of stringing along beforehand as evidenced by her previous coaches, IMG, IB Sports, and now Orser.
How about Carol Heiss-Jenkins? People seem to leave her without much ado.
^ I don't think that Heiss falls into the "pushover" category. On the contrary, she's always struck me as a pretty tough cookie.
Yeah, that was the one kink with my choice.
How about Scott Williams? Another Kwan footstep for Kim to follow.
Well, she's already tried that method of non-decision making in regard to her coaching. Why not use it for her eligibility?
PML, I'd love to see Robin with her best friend style of coaching try to work with Kim
Yuna and Mao teaching eather other~ ? genius~~LOL
Wow.. It is fun! Writer played with young girl. Put me in dirty game
Mark my words, at the LA ice show, Yuna is going to announce that Michelle will be her new coach (in name of course). In practice she will practice alone, with a little help from Wilson and a LOT of help from her mum.
And when Michelle leads Yuna to gold at Sochi, Scott Hamilton can say his famous "Michelle Kwan finally has her gold" statement.
Good to see you back in good humor.
My selection is Mao. Yu-Na sometimes speaks in Japanese.
Maybe instead Mao and Yu-na should form a female pairs team.
Now it's the battle on who is lighter than whom.
Especially with Mama around. Do zambonis do a good job of cleaning up blood or would they need to do something else?
How do you say "No way am I gonna try to lift your fat аss!" in Japanese and Korean?
In Japanese, In Korean
Didn't someone posted that Wilson is her new coach ?
I put the machine in reverse and got these back
Korean to English: No way I'm going to raise your fat аss!
Japanese to English: I try to lift your fat аss my way!
Well it's obvious which one will be the bossy one and which one will be the passive-aggressive one. Who says your nationality doesn't dictate your personal trait?
She can go to China and get coached by Ming Zu Li. Of course, she will have to thank the Communist Party every time she wins a medal.
Separate names with a comma.
