Well, it's no longer a dead heat for now. I'm rooting for the Broncos!

Just adding ... thanks for starting the thread, Vash. This should be a lot of fun. :)

I would like to see Peyton Manning win another superbowl, but I have to root for the Seahawks because my nephew lives in Seattle and he will be thrilled if they win. They have never won a Superbowl, so that would be another reason for me to root for them.

My son is a long time Peyton Manning uber fan. His wife is expecting a baby girl - we are already two days past her due date. If she is born on Superbowl Sunday his wife has agreed to use Peyton as her middle name. My other son is a huge Colts fan and his basement is painted "Colts blue".

Hey, Vash. The reason I voted for the Broncos is because Colorado is closer to where I live. Since the Saints didn't make it to the Super Bowl, I at least wanted a team that was close to Louisiana to win. :D

I have no ties to Seattle and the Broncs HQ and training facility is 2 miles from my house so I guess I'll root for them.

P.S. And owner Pat Bowlen's daughters figure skated and he and the team have done sponsorship with local arena competitions and ice shows.

Colorado is closer to me also. If the 49rs were playing, I would have voted for the Broncos.

I'm rooting for Peyton to win his second ring; I feel like he's too good not to have at least as many rings as his brother. Also, I absolutely can't stand Pete Carroll. However, I think the Seahawks will win -- I have a lot of family in Seattle, so if they do win it's not big deal.

Peyton is a Louisiana boy and graduate of Neumann High School. The Manning family continues to do a lot for New Orleans. They don't flash around their wealth or their talent and do a lot behind the scenes without taking credit.

As far as this area is concerned, there is only one acceptable team to root for. Lots of businesses have things like "Beat the Seedybirds" and "Chicken fried Seahawks" and "Geaux Peyton!"

Goodness, what a nightmare for Peyton. Two picks - including a pick-six - and a safety on first play from scrimmage. I hate when the game is basically over by halftime.

Good Lord Peyton what is happening with your team.

Bruno was marvelous! He rivals Dai with the hair.

Bruno for the win. I can't watch the game anymore. Denver is like a deer caught in the headlights.

Yeah....at this point I'm watching for the commercials. I hate being embarrassed for a team. This is just....sad.

Bruno was clutch and I'm loving some awesome commercials. But I'm stunned by this game. Happy Seattle is winning, but not the way I expected the game to go.

the commercials are subpar (although the one with Sarah McLachlan parodying her ASCPA ad was funny), but this game is unreal.

Bruno won the Superbowl! Was that the first non-lip synced halftime performance in a few years?

So Seattle, one of the greatest defenses ever or did Peyton just play that badly?

Seattle's defense is probably the best ever.
