where can I find info about champions on ice

    I know champions on ice went out of business in 08, but sadly there's a lack of information about the run of that tour (especially in recent decades, 90's-onwards) and the different skaters that participated. I've read that at its peak it played to 85 different cities in a single year???

    Try Amazon.com; there's at least 3 DVDs on "The Best Of.....". Also try searching for "Tom Collins Champions On Ice", to make the search easier.

    For the show's 25th anniversary, Christine Brennan did a book called "Champions on Ice" that may be available on Amazon. It gave the cast each year, and how many cities they did that year. According to the book, in Oly years, there would be 80+ shows (but this sometimes meant multiple shows in larger cities, not the same number of cities) During the post-whack boom, they sometimes did 60+ shows in non-Oly years.
