I buy the kid size combo which comes with popcorn, small coke, and a chocolate. And I might have a bag of peanuts in my purse.
Greasy, buttery movie theater popcorn is my favorite food, and I am totally unrepentant
i buy the kid's combo because i like the tray it comes on, you just have to hold the one thing
Yup, me too. I eat it, I love it, and I have no regrets.
We only have "butter-like topping" at our movie theater (it actually says that on the pump)
These be trying times...
Mine too and when I'm really bad I throw some Milk Duds into the bucket.
choclate IN the popcorn is the BEST!!!
My favorite movie snack is whatever I can sneak in. I have a large purse and can get VERY creative. I usually am with a group and buy popcorn in addition to what I bring in, so I don't feel guilty. I've brought Panda Express, Chipotle, Subway, soda poured into a water bottle...
But as far as in-theater snacks go, popcorn all the way. And I'm kind of gross and I like mine practically COATED in popcorn salt. So much so that I have to bring a separate bag for my own popcorn because no one else can stand to eat out of the same bag as me once I'm done seasoning it. So bad for you, but that stuff wasn't all that nutritious in the first place, so...
Popcorn , no extra "butter-like" substance, because as much as I love it, it does not love me. Also - Red Vines.
If I'm by myself, I get the kids combo. Perfect size of everything, and a tray to put it in.
Yes!! I'll top it off with a giant, icy Coke...
Popcorn swimming in butter, sprinkled with salt and a side of jalapenos
And coke to wash it all down
Popcorn is a whole grain and the kernals are strong anti-oxidants. So it is a nutritious snack, actually, especially if you leave the butter and salt out. I make stove-top popcorn the old-fashioned way and nothing to it. I's a great, low-calorie nighttime snack, especially since I enjoy chewing on the kernals.
Chocolate Choc Top (say that 10 times quickly)
Nothing. I can go 2 hours without eating anything, esp movie popcorn. I walk thru the lobby as quickly as I can because the smell makes me sick. (I like popcorn, just not the overpowering smell of it.)
I like "un-salty" spices, such as curry powder, sprinkled on popcorn.
Nachos and an Icee.
However, reading some of these posts may make me reconsider (especially the salty, buttery, warm popcorn with milkduds thrown in).
I might bring a regular 50cl Pepsi/Coke bottle, and a bag of mixed candy, but I can just as easily go without any snacks at all. If it's a really long film, like The Hobbit, I might skip the snacks and the drink altogether, since I hate having to go to the loo during the film.
I used to love to get the starburst jelly beans. So good. I can't handle all that sugar anymore so for me it is just a diet coke these days.
The new single serving plastic cup of wine. Moms night out, all the way!
Popcorn with Salt no fake butter
m&m's, starbust at theaters
chocolate, icecream, wine at home.
