Congratulations, Anita! Everything looked beautiful, and I love the pinwheels, what an unique and cute idea
All the best to you and Alf!
Congrats Anita...love the pictures!
Anita: Congrats and best wishes to you and Alff (Anita's loveable former fiance). Much happiness.
Weren't you the one we were giving wedding shoe advice to months ago??? Because I just have to say I TOLD you your shoes were going to show in some pics!
Congrats! It looks like it was a beautiful wedding.
I did think about using that one, but that just makes it seem like we broke up.
Yes. And actually, they were already sinking into the grass, so I changed out of those into my regular sneakers for the reception.
Congratulations Anita and ALF!!! What a beautiful wedding. Much happiness to you both.
More pictures from my DSLR-wielding cousin! He was taking video of the ceremony though, so that's why there aren't any pictures of that.
Alf's dad on the tree-lined path
My mom's doggie! He was so good walking down the aisle!
In the middle of couples pictures with the pro photographer
I have no idea what I was doing, but I certainly wasn't making this pose on purpose!
The whole getup!
Cake with cake topper!
Anita! You are a stunning bride! Everything looked beautiful, and I love the tree-lined path!
What a stunning wedding!
Your photographer took some beautiful pictures.
Did you choose the site because of the arbor?
Yes, we took all the group formals on that path. Now to wait the 3 months or so for the pro photographer's stuff.
Actually it was my cousin. He's usually not the most artistic photographer, but it's hard to go wrong with such great outdoor lighting! His photographs for his brother's wedding in a hotel ballroom were decidedly less awesome....
We actually chose it because of all the various environments - the house was awesome AND there was a vineyard, rose garden (although Alf overheated before we got to the rose garden, eh no biggie), some ruins of the old winery, a fountain, and a barn. There was just so much stuff, so many outdoor areas for people to walk around. We definitely loved the variety.
Anita, thanks for sharing the photos. You are a beautiful bride! Your wedding dress is gorgeous, and I loved the pinwheels your mom made. I also loved the wedding cake. Congratulations to you and your handsome husband!
What a venue!
It's everything that someone might want for a celebration, with so many options.
That's a really good picture for not even posing!
I was going to post the same thing - truly beautiful.
I'm a bit teary that after all these months Anita18 is finally married - it's an FSU moment
oops double post
Gorgeous! Keep doing whatever you were doing!
Beautiful - you, the dress, the veil!
Looks like a wonderful wedding. You are a beautiful bride. I'm so happy for you.
Congratulations and thanks for sharing your photos with us. You looked beautiful and the cake topper was awesome!
Did I mention I bought it on ebay for $64, including the bra and crinoline and veil?
We still haven't told my shopaholic aunt yet. She probably thinks I paid $1000 for it or something. I don't know if we ever will. I want to see the look on her face!!! Sadness.
Yeah my sister was really impressed it was so affordable. I wish I remembered how I came across it. I think I was just going down the entire list of venues in the Bay Area on Herecomestheguide.com. I don't think it's as popular because it's smaller, a historic site (ie, nonprofit and don't advertise), and they don't let you stay out that late because they lack outdoor lighting.
Awww, you guys are adorable.
Anita, you look beautiful! Congratulations again.
Where was your venue, Anita?
At the bottom of the page, it said Livermore, California.
