Fingers crossed for them. I came back from Canadians convinced we really need them to make it to Worlds this year. Of course, I don't want her to go if it would cause any long-term problems for her.

Worlds starts in 4 weeks and 4 days. If W/P are not on the ice yet, it doesn't seem possible that they would be ready.

i thought v/m suffered an injury reputation in 2009 and 2011 seasons which resulted in their placements at Worlds (as some have put it anyway). wouldnt w/p go through such if they really push it in this Worlds? why bother skating if kaitlyn is still healing and judges wouldnt really be giving them scores their programs deserve because of that injury reputation? besides, prior to kaitlyn's injury, their programs didnt really win judges over as much as their previous programs did anyway. i'd rather have kaitlyn heal and save her condition for next year's olympics.

"injury reputation " meaning that their (VM) score were lower and not deserved ???
In my experience, it happens the contrary :)
anyway judges look at the performance, not at the past.

The fact that the Fd was not "loved " by judges and some audience, well they changed it, almost totally, so I still hope they can make it, to see it, this FD has some beautiful stuff !! The deserve a chance !!!

Obviously they will not risk K's health for any reasons.

Plus this year is Russia year....so they would have been behind Bobrova even with je suis malade !!!

Saw on twitter that CBC Toronto is going to have a piece on Weaver's return to the ice on the 6pm news.

Best of luck to Kaitlyn & Andrew in the coming weeks and hopefully they can skate in London at world!

Not at home now, but I have the DVR set to record it. Before I left home, I saw the news teaser. They did a close up of her ankle, showing the scar from her surgery. I wonder if the doctors will need to go back in to remove the extra installed hardware, or if it is permanent?

    poor Kaitlyn!

wishing them all the best! can't wait to see them back on the ice! I love these two, and really adore their SD this season. I think their FD is beautifully portrayed and just needs more in terms of transitions. I look forward to see the new program. enjoy the skating, everyone! can't wait to discuss!

That tweet put tears in my eyes. And the "thumb up" by Kaitlyn -- wonderful to see.
