Hey anybody that watched, did tessa cut her finger and how?
I wish to know from people who saw this "live". Sorry.
lol Thanks for the laugh.
Speed and attack weren't the problem, as we can clearly see from the PCS love.
So... the spin was a level 1, basically invalid, but got GOEs of 2 and 3. This system is really nonsense sometimes.
I better liked the old Scott's hair in Carmen.
Scott looks ticked off...Tessa looks say "oh oh".
level 1 spin and 3.00pt deduction. yup national scoring!!!@1! scate canadia obviosly neds 2 stawp inflatting their scores!1!1!@!
in all seriousness, i will (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻ if d/w pchans nationals and gets 300pts
Bring it on! I love Scott fired up!
The thing that's bugging me about the spin is that they've gotten level 4 for it all season internationally.
The rotational lift must have been too long but looked spot on to me. There speed live was good.
I saw her glance down at her hand after the skate but couldn't see what happened.
Thats why i think its something going on with Ann Shaw gave them dedaction for illigal move (porno move)- its 3 point
Its hard to look at Scott I feel bad not because marks, but they talk so much how they work hard on this FD, how hard for them to get this criticism.
Its unfair when old judges wish to them only lsweet lovers, like in SD.
Thanks, somebody on fb said she cut her hand. What did you think of the new lift? I don't like Scott's hair gelled back for this program.
score changed, it's now 108,19
They now have "only" two lift deductions
LOL. This is so crazy? What's even going on with this panel?
Thanks! But for for one long lift they must get only 1 point dedaction.
Crazy. Its like Bestemyanovca-Bukin get there golds medals at international competition easy, then at nationals.
Um okay, WTF?! I'm just confused now. Oh thanks BTW lol.
And now they need to return them one more point Stupid judging
Yeah, I just looked at the protocols. It says 2.00 point deduction for a long lift. 2 points?
The last lift is sexy so I love it but some detractors will hate it.
The last lift hasn't been seen by the judges so I could see it and the rotational lift possibly having deductions
What are some of you guys talking about?! The GOE and PCS are insanely awesome. The judges are saying they LOVE this program and performance and it is an inarguably rousing, across-the-board positive "send off". The levels can be tweaked; it's feedback they have the ability to use. If I were the tech caller and the length of a lift was on the button, I'd rather be harsh at the National level, and encourage them to tighten things up before the big stage. I'm so happy for their latest Canadian title.
No, there must be 2 lifts, but the description in the protocols is "long lift".
They lost 3 points in the spin and 1,5 in the lift. If we add the 2 pt deduction, the score would have been absolutely HUGE. Too much, probably, but I would have loved that!!
Also, we need a new thread. Ideas?
I agree. I don't want anyone to kiss up to them because they're Canadians. This gives them plenty of time to tighten things up before Worlds.
I think there must have been some error with the deductions, because there were a number of teams that had deductions but no longer do.
I dont care about this 10th, but this coudnt be ruth they had mistake in spin, then 2 lng lifts.... Stupid.
Yes, when I posted earlier, 3/4 of the couples had long lift deductions. Now only V&M and one other team do.
I hope someone puts up the video soon, I just want to see it for myself. And I think Jess is right the PCS was almost 60 so it's just the technical side they need to look at.
Sorry, but the "kiss up" when gave them all 10th. But in international competitions they gey higher levels second Nationals in the row. Maybe they dont need to compete at Nationals with such werid judging.
that was kinda pointless they already won anyway
I have to agree ... This is what these pre-world competitions are all about. I haven't seen this yet but looking forward to it.
Pani, you're missing my point. I'd rather they be judged harshly at Nationals if that's the way the judges see it. It gives them the impetus to work that much harder going into Worlds. What I don't want to see is Canadian judges overscoring simply because it is a national competition.
