    Kostner's Riders on the Storm

Kostner's choreography and musical interpretation in her 2007-8 short program:

    - excellent on both counts
    - serviceable choreography, adequately interpreted
    - The whole thing is a major WTF for me, given the lyrics of the song by The Doors.
    - Meh.
    - Bleh.

Wow, what a magnificent talent each of contestant has! I'll go with Sol de Inverno:D She's got more charisma and the song is splendidly composed and performed.

    Non, though I should.

What would a men's singles OGM have to do to be more widely and intensely disliked on this board than Evan Lysacek?

    - wipe out the world's population of otters, harp seals, and polar bears
    - start a nuclear war
    - marry all three Kardashian sisters
    - destroy the sun
    - marry Zsa Zsa Gabor and the corpses of her mother and sisters
    - nothing. "Evan" is just another word for evil.

I wonder if there will be a decade in our respective lifetimes in which the fashions change as quickly as they did in the 1960s.

The elegant and brilliant Mao Asada.

the greatest 1-2-3 finish in ladies' singles at a national championship:

    1968: Fleming, Noyes, and Lynn
    1998: Kwan, Lipinski, and Bobek
    2006: Suguri, Asada, and Arakawa
    or
    2010: Asada, Suzuki, and Nakano?

To be honest, I have no idea how Noyes and Lynn skated in 1968. :shuffle:

Yes and no. She flutzes, mule kicks, underrotates by three quarters of a turn, and lands on two feet when she doesn't fall. Nearly half the time, it's scored as a bad double flip. Other than all that, it's fine.
