    Horrifying painting....how much? :bribe:

Perhaps I am showing my idiosyncrasies, but I just loved Takahito Mura's Shogun LP from last season. It's everything Elvis Stojko ever tried to be but epic-failed. But seriously, it is perhaps the most effectively choreographed program set to traditional Japanese music. That plus the skater's superb speed and overall technique puts it over the edge. :swoon: Agree?

I like Mura's program but don't "get" the choreographic step sequence at the end; some of the movements seem noncommittal, though the hydroblading move is good.

Two things I like and admire about Elvis Stojko:

the way he toughed it out in Nagano, which I couldn't have done
    or
that he choreographed the ice skating sequences in Death to Smoochy (an underappreciated film)?

:respec: (especially for avoiding so many too-obvious song choices)

    Kraftwerk.

    1) Giorgio Moroder or Kraftwerk?

    2) Pet Shop Boys or Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark?

    3) New Order or Depeche Mode?

I'm shocked that you like Lysacek more than, say, Adam Rippon. But I am intrigued--do explain :watch:

Sadly, I am poorly versed in overall skater knowledge from these eras. :( I have always tried to avoid Scott Hamilton's amateur work (I find his appearance rather grotesque...I can't even stomach food watching him...he sure had fabulous tecknik though :D ).
Anyway, I will go with Kucbicka/Petkevich because it sounds like a voidy Soviet dance pair that might have skated to the technically expanding, philosophically atheist, and choreographically wondrous Sprach Zarathustra, Rite of Spring, and....erm....Aurelia Dobre's floor music.

    Most convincing Inter-Generational Equation :COP:
    A) Caryn Kadavy = Naomi Nari Nam (they're actually the same person split into two time periods  Damn those wormholes)
    B) Jill Trenary = Jenny Kirk (strong and glamorous. Dick Button's bond girls....who is the third? :watch:)
    C) Debi Thomas = the 2004 Worlds Streaker (watch this audience footage of the event and tell me he didn't rip off Wanda Beazel.)
    D) Tonya & Nancy = Swagner??!?? (science suggests that the media spectacle gave birth to a media girl)
    E) Sandy Lenz = Alissa Czisny (same soul...just a different body)

Oh, so that's why Kwan looked so annoyed.

Wagner and Gold both seem like plausible offspring.

"Berlioz Trout" just leaves me thinking of fish "dancing" over a coffin while Leonard Bernstein admonishes the audience that, when "you take a trip, you wind up screaming at your own funeral."

    - Yes, and?
    - It's too early for trout.
    - "Hector Kilgore" is an evil-sounding name.
    - #57 was a superb entry and deserved a better follow-up than this.
